AgriHub Content Contributors Guidelines

Thank you for taking an interest in submitting an article for AHC. When preparing your submission, please first review the following guidelines:

[Word count] No minimums but posts typically run between 250-500 words. Please stay under 500 words.

[Tone ] Inclusive, accessible, and generally positive. Have a look around and see what we’ve previously posted.

[Original Content] We ask that posts submitted be unique and original to AHC. We do not accept posts that have already been published or submitted elsewhere online or that you plan to distribute to other websites.

[We are not interested in submissions written for the primary purpose of product promotion.] Articles should be written in the spirit of sharing knowledge and furthering the discipline of Agriculture and Sustainability. Submissions based on product or service marketing will not be accepted.

[Promotion of your article.] Since we do not compensate contributors for posts, we’re more than happy to include a brief bio containing links to your website, Facebook, Twitter accounts, which we will promote when your post goes live. Please keep your bio to just 2-3 sentences.

[Please send your post as an email attachment.] This means sending a covering email with your submission attached as a Word document. Please also include any accompanying graphics as attachments, rather than embedding them in the Word document.

[Once your posts go live, please share with your friends and colleagues.] The more people who view your post, the better is it for you and the better it is for AHC, so share your article via email, your website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media. In turn, AHC will also promote your post via these digital platforms.

[We love connecting with new contributors.] AHC Website is completely staffed by volunteers, who have full time jobs and occasionally like to take a weekend off, or even go on holiday. As such you may not get an immediate response to your submission. However, we can assure you that we will respond to acknowledge your submission.

[By submitting an article to ACH you acknowledge that you accept that editing might occur.] To meet word count limits, as well as for the sake of readability, page layout requirements, etc the Website Editor may carry out reasonable alterations to your submission prior to publication.
